A Photoshoot with Windle Lab, Sara Kelly Brands and Ballet Star Anna Rose O’Sullivan

In a recent project with Sara Kelly Brand Consultant and Windle Lab London, we had the opportunity to photograph Anna Rose O’Sullivan, the Principal Dancer of The Royal Ballet, during a hair transformation using Windle Lab’s Christmas Styling Hair Regime. The shoot beautifully highlighted the connection between art, beauty, and the elegance of professional styling.

The Perfect Setting that is Windle Lab

The space at Windle Lab couldn’t have been better for this project. The naturally balanced lighting provided an ideal foundation, allowing us to capture Anna’s hair transformation without over-relying on external equipment. We used some supplementary lighting to enhance specific shots, but largely worked with the venue’s ambient light, which kept the setup simple and authentic.

Capturing Every Detail, from Start to Finish

Documenting Anna Rose O’Sullivan’s hair transformation required attention to detail and a focus on creating images that would serve multiple purposes. To ensure a comprehensive suite of visuals, we captured each stage of the hair process from a variety of angles. We knew the client would need:

• Landscape images for the website, to provide full-width visuals that convey the salon’s atmosphere and showcase Anna’s styling journey.

• Square images designed for digital ads, ensuring the product and brand message would fit perfectly into any marketing layout.

• Portrait shots crafted with social media in mind, making it easy to post and highlight specific elements of the transformation.

Collaborating for Excellence

Working closely with Sara Kelly, we carefully reviewed each shot to ensure that every image aligned with the brand’s goals. This collaboration ensured that the images effectively showcased the Christmas + New Year Styling Hair Regime and reflected the skill and artistry of Windle Lab’s stylists.

In the end, the shoot provided Windle Lab with a range of versatile, purpose-driven images that captured Anna’s transformation in a way that speaks to the quality and beauty of the brand.
